The Central Bank of Seychelles has launched the inaugural Financial Indicators Expectations Survey for Firms to capture companies’ expectations for key economic indicators over horizons ranging from the next three months to five years, to support its economic analysis and policy decision-making. The survey covers expectations on prices, interest rates, exchange rates, economic activity, wages, firms’ ability to hire employees, and access to credit. Results are intended to complement similar expectation surveys conducted with the banking sector and households, giving the central bank a broader view of economic expectations across these groups. Participation in the Q2 2025 survey round is open until April 04, 2025. Consolidated results are scheduled for publication on April 25, 2025 on the Central Bank of Seychelles website.
