The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has appointed Ms Alexandra Yeong, Senior Director of Investment Products, as Interim Head of Investment Products with effect from 1 November 2025. She will oversee the Investment Products Division pending the appointment of a new Executive Director to lead the division. The interim appointment follows Ms Christina Choi’s impending move to become the SFC’s Executive Director of Corporate Finance, also effective 1 November 2025. Ms Yeong joined the SFC in 2007, moved to the Corporate Finance Division in 2009, and later transferred to the Investment Products Division, where she was promoted to her current role in 2017 and has led work including the UT Code review, supervision of collective investment scheme assessments, and policy development for investment products. The SFC will shortly begin recruiting for the Executive Director of Investment Products role, with Ms Yeong remaining in place until a permanent appointment is made.

The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission has appointed Ms Alexandra Yeong as Interim Head of Investment Products, effective 1 November 2025, following Ms Christina Choi’s transition to Executive Director of Corporate Finance. Ms Yeong, who joined the SFC in 2007 and has been Senior Director of Investment Products since 2017, will oversee the division until a new Executive Director is appointed.
