The Middle East and North Africa Financial Action Task Force (MENAFATF) has launched its 40th Plenary and Working Group meetings in Amman, hosted under the Presidency of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and running from 4 to 8 May 2025. The five-day programme brings together senior officials from MENAFATF members and observers from countries and regional and international organisations focused on combating money laundering, terrorist financing and the financing of weapons proliferation. A high-level workshop will also be held alongside the Plenary on fundamental changes in Financial Action Task Force international standards and the next round of mutual evaluations.
