The Central Bank of Libya and the Government of National Unity reviewed the country’s economic and financial position, coordination between fiscal and monetary policies, and implementation of the Unified Development Agreement. The meeting brought together Central Bank Governor Naji Issa, Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah and government ministers. Discussions covered public revenue and expenditure, procedures for implementing the agreement and compliance with its provisions. The government reaffirmed its support for full implementation, while participants called for shortcomings and their causes to be identified and addressed, with continued monitoring of agreed measures.
