Indonesia's Ministry of Finance reported that President Prabowo Subianto has inaugurated Deputy Minister of Finance Anggito Abimanyu as Chair of the Board of Commissioners of the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS). The appointment was made under Presidential Decree Number 111/B of 2025 on the dismissal and appointment of LPS board members. Anggito previously served as Deputy Minister of Finance and has worked in fiscal and public finance policy. Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa publicly welcomed the appointment and said the ministry would continue to coordinate with LPS, with the update also noting that stronger cooperation among LPS, the Ministry of Finance, Bank Indonesia and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) is expected to support financial system stability and public confidence in the banking sector.
