The Jordan Securities Commission held a workshop for employees of capital market institutions, in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, on how to verify clients’ and investors’ digital and electronic documents. The workshop focused on the use of the ministry’s electronic verification portal, verifier.gov.jo, to implement the amended Electronic Transactions Law and Civil Status Law for 2026. The step was presented as part of broader government directives to embed digital transformation in official services. In that context, it supports simplified procedures, reduced reliance on paper documents and acceptance of electronic documents in formal processes.
