In opening remarks, Angola Capital Markets Commission Chair Elmer Serrão emphasized the market’s role in mobilizing savings, financing companies and supporting economic diversification. He reviewed the market’s development through the establishment of the commission and the Angola Debt and Securities Exchange, as well as the contribution of the privatization program, and stressed the need for greater trust, transparency and innovation.
