The Angola Capital Markets Commission held a financial education lecture for students at Óscar Ribas University, focused on explaining how the capital markets work and how investors can access available financial instruments. The session formed part of the Commission’s Financial Education Programme and attracted around 220 participants. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Johny Soki, Director of the Department for Studies, Strategy, Development and Communication, and was attended by Dr. Evaristo da Cruz, Head of the Accounting and Finance Department, representing the host university. Topics covered included the structure of the financial system, stock exchange dynamics, the functioning of the capital market, the role of the Angola Capital Markets Commission, and a step-by-step overview of how to subscribe to financial instruments.
