The clarification notes that certain fraudulent platforms have been misusing the names of reputable companies, licensed entities and professionals, including BMA Capital Management Limited. SECP specified that “BMA Capital No.108” and “BMAC Global Pro” are unrelated to the licensed broker, and referenced a public alert posted by BMA Capital Management Limited warning against misuse of its name. SECP again advised the public to verify the legitimacy of any investment platform or scheme via the SECP website and the official websites of licensed securities and commodities brokers.
