The Central Bank of The Bahamas announced an industry briefing to present and discuss a compendium of proposed legislative reforms currently under public consultation, aimed at modernising the regulatory framework for the financial sector. The briefing is scheduled for 21 October 2025 and will be delivered in two sessions (10:15–12:00 and 14:30–16:00) via Zoom webinar, with an option to watch live on YouTube. The Central Bank invited participation from regulated financial institutions, industry associations and other stakeholders, and noted that the consultation papers and draft legislation are available on its website.
