The Financial Superintendency of Colombia announced that it will join the Superintendence of Companies and the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce to hold the first 2026 stop of the joint “Me informo y cuido mi dinero” campaign in Ibagué (Tolima) on 26–27 February, aimed at helping the public protect itself from different types of fraud. The programme starts at 8:00 a.m. on 26 February at the Chamber of Commerce main auditorium (Calle 10 No 3-76) with an open session for businesses and the general public, where officials from the three superintendencies will provide practical tools to reduce exposure to fraud. The agenda also includes talks for students at the University of Ibagué and Universidad Remington, and closes on 27 February with a public session at the Consumer House for Goods and Services in Ibagué (Carrera 3 with Calle 19 Esquina), targeted at the general public and popular-economy participants. The campaign began in 2022 and, over four years of activities, has reached close to 5,000 people directly through in-person talks, alongside prevention messages amplified through local media.
