Cameroon's National Economic and Financial Committee published a press release on its extraordinary session held on Feb. 24, 2026, stating that it adopted the committee's 2026 activity program and budget. The budget was set at XAF 2,250,213,603 in resources and uses after members reviewed the 2025 activity program implementation report and the 2025 budget execution report. Members also reviewed progress in implementing the National Strategy for Development of the Financial Sector and work under the agenda to accelerate the digital transformation of Cameroon's financial sector. They encouraged the committee's secretary-general to continue implementing those projects.
