The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco announced a new appointment, a reappointment and a chair redesignation for its Portland Branch Board of Directors, effective 1 January 2026. Peter J. Bragdon, president of Columbia Sportswear Company, was appointed as a director. Rich Babcock, chief executive officer of Rosboro, was reappointed for a second term. Graciela Gomez Cowger, former chief executive officer of Schwabe, was redesignated to serve as chair of the Portland Branch board in 2026. The San Francisco Fed’s branches in Los Angeles, Portland, Salt Lake City and Seattle each have separate seven-member branch boards.
