The Insurance State Supervision Service of Georgia reported that its Head, Davit Onoprishvili, is participating in the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) 2025 Week of Committees, Annual General Meeting and annual conference in Tirana from 11 to 15 November 2025, representing the Central, Eastern Europe and Transcaucasia (CEET) region in meetings of the IAIS Executive Committee and the Implementation and Assessment Committee. The delegation also includes Deputy Head Maia Kublashvili and International Relations Division Head Natia Kvachakhia. Discussions in IAIS governing bodies focused on implementing IAIS strategic goals, strengthening cooperation and promoting unified approaches to global insurance supervision, alongside exchanges on supervisory trends, challenges and sector priorities. The week is scheduled to conclude with the IAIS annual conference on 14 to 15 November.
