The Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan approved M.A. Shalgimbayev as head of the executive body and as a member of the executive and management bodies in the insurance sector (Protocol No. 261/СО of 12 August 2025), and noted that where the qualification requirements under Kazakhstan’s Law on Insurance Activity are met, a senior manager who has received regulatory consent may be transferred within the same sector to a similar position without additional consent.
