The Kazakhstan Ministry of Finance has drafted amendments that would expand the goods subject to mandatory accompanying waybills and electronic invoices through the electronic invoice system’s Virtual Warehouse module. The expanded list would include agricultural products and goods for which minimum price levels have been established. The draft would also establish a uniform definition of the covered goods list and align terminology with the Digital Code by replacing “information system” with “digital system.” The changes are intended to standardize application of the requirements and support digital tracking of goods movements, sales and turnover between businesses.
