The Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) and Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen cooperation on capital markets-related education, training and joint initiatives of mutual interest. The arrangement centres on raising student awareness of the stock market, relevant local and international legislation and international practices, alongside building pre-graduation skills for work in capital market institutions, including pathways toward practising financial professions as JSC-approved financial brokers. It also provides for periodic training lectures, a dedicated program for students to develop and present new financial ideas with an emphasis on financial technology, technical cooperation between specialists, and expanded collaboration through joint scientific research, experience sharing, and jointly organised lectures, workshops, seminars and conferences, as well as exchange of publications and research outputs. PSUT indicated interest in cooperation particularly in areas related to virtual and digital assets, and in developing curriculum and tracks linked to financial services, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and financial technology.
