The Algeria Market Authority, under an addendum to its cooperation agreement with Tunisia's Financial Market Council and in partnership with the Banking Training Institute, organized an intensive training program for the 13th cohort preparing the Professional Certificate in Financial Markets. The program included a practical immersion visit to Tunisian financial market institutions on June 29 and 30, 2026, to complement the trainees' hands-on training. This was the second program of its kind, following a similar visit for the previous cohort, and forms part of the implementation of the cooperation agreement between the two authorities. It is aimed at Algerian financial sector professionals, including representatives of banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions operating in Algeria. The field visits covered Tunisia's Financial Market Council, the Tunis Stock Exchange, Tunisie Clearing and several brokerage intermediaries, giving participants direct exposure to how the Tunisian market operates and allowing exchanges with local market participants.
