The Mauritius International Financial Centre outlined the outcomes of a high-level consultative workshop led by the Ministry of Financial Services and Economic Planning to redefine a strategic roadmap for Mauritius’ financial services sector. Discussions focused on improving global competitiveness through operational efficiency, regulatory reforms, and digital transformation. Participants also explored ways to strengthen the brand positioning of the Mauritius International Financial Centre (IFC) and to attract and retain talent to support innovation and sustainable growth. The workshop brought together more than 140 industry leaders and stakeholders and was attended at the opening by the Minister of Financial Services and Economic Planning, Dr Jyoti Jeetun, the Junior Minister of Finance, Mr Dhaneshwar Damry, and the Governor of the Bank of Mauritius, Dr Rama Krishna Sithanen.
