The World Bank Group’s International Finance Corporation priced a NZD 1 billion seven-year Kauri bond, its largest issuance in the market and its first New Zealand dollar Kauri transaction since December 2023. The 4.60% bond matures on Sept. 21, 2033, and settlement is expected on Sept. 21, 2026. The bond was priced 14.35 basis points above the 3.5% New Zealand government bond due April 2033, with a reoffer yield of 4.616%. New Zealand investors received 95% of the issuance, while banks and bank treasuries accounted for 92% of allocations. ANZ Bank New Zealand, Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Westpac Banking Corporation jointly led the transaction.
