The Guernsey Financial Services Commission published a sanctions notice advising that the Policy & Resources Committee has issued a new general licence under Guernsey’s Russia sanctions regime, replacing general licence GY/RUSSIA/2025/GL1 which has expired. The general licence is issued under regulation 64 of the Russia (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, as implemented in the Bailiwick by the Sanctions (Implementation of UK Regimes) (Bailiwick of Guernsey) (Brexit) Regulations 2020, and is available via the States of Guernsey finance sanctions webpage.
