The Securities and Exchange Commission, Thailand has enhanced its “SEC Check First” investor assistance application by adding a “Latest Investor Alert” function and a new in-app channel for reporting investment scams, alongside a chatbot for general inquiries. The upgrade is intended to make it easier for investors and the public to verify capital market service providers under SEC supervision and to search for approved investment products, including securities and digital assets. The new “Latest Investor Alert” displays, on launch, the most recently updated names of individuals or juristic persons who are not service providers under SEC supervision and who may be misunderstood as being supervised, with continued access to the full Investor Alert list. The SEC also reported usage in 2025 of 282,338 pageviews via its website and 20,788 uses on the mobile application, and advised existing users to update the app to ensure compatibility with the new features.
