Greece's Ministry of National Economy and Finance announced the completion of the application process for the “Digital Transactions B” programme, implemented with the Ministry of Digital Governance and the Independent Authority for Public Revenue. The scheme supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in adopting digital invoicing tools and electronic transaction capabilities. The EUR 61.2 million programme, part of the “Digital Transformation of SMEs” action and funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility, provides vouchers for solutions including EFT/POS procurement, electronic invoicing services and invoicing software, upgrades to cash register systems and fiscal devices, replacement of tax mechanisms, and technical support for secure, interconnected transactions. Between 23 June and 30 September 2025, 151,469 applications were submitted across the published categories, led by Category 1 (EFT/POS) with 53,562 applications and Category 3 (e-invoicing services/software) with 38,372; Information Society S.A. (KtP M.A.E.) is the implementing body.
