Warren previously criticized Huang following a closed-door meeting with Republican senators in December, alleging that he had lobbied against the bipartisan GAIN AI Act and supported federal preemption of state AI protections. She had invited him to the June hearing to explain NVIDIA’s views on U.S. export controls and its business dealings in China.
