The Thailand Securities and Exchange Commission hosted the 10th Asia Pacific Regulators’ Dialogue on Market Surveillance (ARMS) 2025 in Bangkok on 23 to 24 June 2025, bringing together Asia-Pacific capital market regulators to share experience and practices in supervising securities, derivatives and digital asset trading. Participants included the Australian Securities & Investments Commission, Securities and Exchange Board of India, Capital Market Authority, Monetary Authority of Singapore, Securities Commission Malaysia, Japan’s Financial Services Agency, Indonesia Financial Services Authority and Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission. Discussions covered the use and challenges of technology in surveillance and enforcement, emerging trends in market misconduct, and regulatory, surveillance and enforcement approaches for digital assets, alongside jurisdiction-specific challenges and potential solutions to strengthen cross-border cooperation on market surveillance.
