Moldova's Ministry of Finance announced that a delegation led by Finance Minister Andrian Gavriliță, together with National Bank of Moldova Governor Anca Dragu, is participating in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Group Spring Meetings in Washington, D.C., on 14–18 April 2026. The visit focuses on dialogue with international financial institutions to advance Moldova’s economic and financial policy priorities, including European integration. The agenda includes meetings with IMF officials, including Deputy Managing Director Kenji Okamura, European Department Director Alfred Kammer, Executive Director for Moldova Jeroen Clicq and Moldova mission chief Alina Iancu, in the context of initiating a new programme with the Fund. Discussions are also planned with World Bank and International Finance Corporation (IFC) leadership, including Executive Director Eugene Rhuggenaath, Vice President Antonella Bassani and IFC Vice President Alfonso Garcia Mora, covering Moldova’s macroeconomic developments and outlook and implementation of the 2025–2027 reform agenda under the Growth Plan.

Moldova’s Ministry of Finance announced that Finance Minister Andrian Gavriliță and National Bank of Moldova Governor Anca Dragu are attending the IMF and World Bank Spring Meetings in Washington, D.C., to advance economic and financial policy priorities, including European integration. The delegation will hold talks with senior IMF, World Bank and International Finance Corporation officials on launching a new IMF programme, Moldova’s macroeconomic outlook and implementing the 2025–2027 reform agenda under the Growth Plan.
