The State Bank of Vietnam published the Governor’s decision appointing Vu Le Tung Giang as Deputy Director of the Department for Safety of the Credit Institutions System. Giang was previously head of the unit responsible for safety policy for cooperative banks, people’s credit funds and microfinance institutions. The appointment was announced at an internal SBV conference attended by Standing Deputy Governor Doan Thai Son and representatives from SBV departments and units.
