Trinidad and Tobago’s Ministry of Finance, through the Inland Revenue Division, announced that Liquor Licence Holders must file Amusement Gaming Tax Returns online, with the system moving to fully digital processing from 1 April 2026. Returns will be accessed and processed exclusively through the IRD’s e-Tax Logged In Service, and paper-based returns for the 2026 period will no longer be accepted. Licence Holders must upload required information and documents electronically, including the specific number of machines on their premises. Outstanding Amusement Gaming Tax Returns for periods before the transition must still be submitted through the existing manual process. To use the e-Tax Logged In Service, Licence Holders must obtain a ttconnect ID to register for e-Tax services. The application process requires completion of a TTConnect application, two valid forms of identification, documentation for BIR number verification, and an additional photo ID “selfie” for applications submitted by email.
