The Japan Financial Services Agency held an opinion exchange meeting with Cabinet Office officials and representatives of financial-related organisations on promoting business support and financial facilitation in light of the current situation in the Middle East. In parallel, the government requested financial-related organisations and others to provide detailed support close to business operators so the Middle East situation does not lead to serious cash-flow problems. Participants included Cabinet Office officials such as Minister Katayama, who is in charge of finance. The agency published attachments covering the opinion exchange meeting and the government request on financial responses in consideration of the situation in the Middle East.
