The Committee of Experts on the Evaluation of Anti-Money Laundering Measures (MONEYVAL), together with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), convened the second forum of FATF-Style Regional Bodies (FSRBs) in Strasbourg to share experience and align approaches in the global anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CFT) framework. Representatives from the seven FSRBs and the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Secretariat discussed challenges observed in the last round of mutual evaluations and priorities for the next evaluation round. The agenda also covered benchmarks for future assessments and follow-up processes, as well as how FSRBs contribute to the FATF’s International Co-operation Review Group (ICRG) process, including post-exit actions.
