The Executive Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo has approved a Cybersecurity Strategy for 2025–2028, aligning it with the central bank’s strategic plan objective to build a regulatory and supervisory framework that addresses cyber risks and strengthens the institution’s operational capabilities. The strategy sets out the vision, objectives, and concrete measures to protect the central bank’s infrastructure, systems, and information from cyber threats. The approach is framed as integrated, covering capacity building, cybersecurity risk management, incident response, and the continuous enhancement of control mechanisms. It also establishes a basis for a sustainable information security and cybersecurity structure aimed at effective protection and alignment with advanced international standards, supported by a three-year action plan with defined implementation measures.
