The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan said it is establishing a strategic cooperation relationship with the United Kingdom's Chartered Insurance Institute as part of its efforts to strengthen skills in the financial sector. The main outcome is a preliminary agreement to introduce an international training program in Azerbaijan with the participation of the institute's professors and experts. The cooperation discussions focused on developing human capital in Azerbaijan's insurance sector and supporting the country's role as a regional education and training center for insurance aligned with international standards. Under the planned program, professionals working in the insurance and financial sectors, as well as individuals seeking to build careers in those fields, would gain access to professional education in insurance and risk management offered by the institute.
