Morocco’s Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS) launched a digital platform in September for policyholders and beneficiaries to submit and track claims, communicate with the authority and retain a traceable case record. The interface is accessible by computer, smartphone and tablet and has been optimized for mobile use. Claims submitted before the launch will continue under standard procedures without action from claimants. Appeals to ACAPS form part of the amicable dispute resolution process after preliminary steps with the insurer and, where applicable, the Insurance Mediator. ACAPS processed 6,787 complaints from 2016 through 2025, including 432 related to social protection, and 4,384 complaints in the first half of 2026, including about 225 social protection cases.
