The Banking Agency of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina delivered a guest lecture to third- and fourth-year students at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Mostar on protecting the safety and stability of the banking sector, providing an overview of conditions in the banking system in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Speakers included Assistant Director for Bank Supervision Admil Nukić, Assistant Director for Legal Support and Licensing Boris Medak, Mostar Branch Director Davorin Filipović, and Head of the Department for Supervision of Financial Services User Protection Ana Čuljak. The Agency highlighted that the sector is well capitalised and liquid, and set out its supervisory role in overseeing banks’ operations, monitoring risks in the financial system, and protecting financial services users, with these measures supporting deposit safety and confidence in the banking system.
