The National Bank of Serbia published an update reporting a new daily record in its instant payments system (IPS NBS), with 468,697 payments executed on 5 May 2025 for a total value of RSD 6,908,757,637.64. The IPS NBS system operates 24/7/365 and enables citizens and businesses to initiate payments from anywhere at any time, including weekends and non-working days, with funds made available to the payee within seconds. The system has been in operation since 22 October 2018.

The National Bank of Serbia reported a new daily record for its instant payments system, IPS NBS, with 468,697 payments totaling RSD 6.9 billion on 5 May 2025. The system, operational since October 2018, allows 24/7/365 payment initiation with immediate fund availability.
