The Superintendency of Banks of Panama announced a strategic collaboration agreement with Visa to promote and strengthen financial education for young people, adults, entrepreneurs and microentrepreneurs in Panama. The partnership is aimed at expanding access to digital educational tools that teach personal finance and business management concepts, including savings, budgeting and responsible use of credit. Under the agreement, Visa will provide technology platforms, teaching resources and global brand guidelines, while the Superintendency of Banks of Panama will lead visibility and adoption strategies to extend the content across the country. As part of the launch, the two institutions held a live tournament for students from Panamanian public schools using Financial Football, an interactive game developed by Visa in partnership with FIFA that tests users on personal finance and business questions and allows progression through more advanced learning levels. The arrangement also предусматривает joint outreach actions to maximize the reach and uptake of these digital education platforms nationwide, with free access limited to educational use.
