The Saudi Arabia Insurance Authority is participating in the Global Health Exhibition 2025 to explain its role in regulating the insurance sector and protecting the rights of policyholders and other market participants. Its activities focus on awareness of health insurance policies and medical malpractice coverage, as well as coordination between health insurers and healthcare providers. Health insurance accounts for 55.5% of Saudi Arabia’s insurance market. Gross written premiums increased 9.4% from SAR 38.6 billion in 2023 to SAR 42.2 billion in 2024, with 23 companies currently operating in the segment.
