The Dominican Republic's Pensions Superintendency awarded its "Here We Know About Pensions" seal to Claro Dominicana, making it the first telecommunications company in the country to receive the certification. The recognition followed completion of a virtual training programme in which 90 percent of the company's staff, more than 4,000 employees, took the course "What I Should Know About My Pension" on the Dominican Pension System. The programme covered employees' rights and obligations under the Dominican Pension System and their relationship with pension fund administrators. The seal is valid for two years, after which Claro Dominicana must undergo recertification, including approval of an updated course on the pension system.
