The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis has appointed Kreg Weigand as general auditor and senior vice president, putting him in charge of the Bank’s internal audit department. The function evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of the organization’s risk management, internal controls, and governance processes. Weigand will report to the Minneapolis Board of Directors’ Audit Committee. He takes over following the retirement announcement of Tim Devaney and joins from Cargill, after earlier serving as a partner at KPMG focused on internal audit and enterprise risk management.
