The Board of Supervisors of the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) has reappointed Ante Žigman and Teija Korpiaho to EIOPA’s Management Board for a second term of two and a half years. Žigman is President of the Board of the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (HANFA) and Korpiaho is Chief Advisor of Insurance Supervision at the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA). Both have served on EIOPA’s Management Board since summer 2023; their second and final terms will end on 22 June 2028 and 30 July 2028, respectively. EIOPA’s Management Board comprises EIOPA’s Chairperson, six representatives of national supervisory authorities and a representative from the European Commission, and is responsible for ensuring EIOPA delivers its mission and tasks.
