The Central Bank of Egypt reported that remittances from Egyptians working abroad rose 33.2% year on year to a record about USD 39.2 billion in July-April 2025-2026, up from about USD 29.4 billion in July-April 2024-2025, while April 2026 inflows increased 44.0% to about USD 4.3 billion from about USD 3.0 billion in April 2025.
