Mexico's National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Users of Financial Services renewed MetLife Mexico's Sáasil badge for its Te Quiero Segura program, recognizing the insurer's work to incorporate a gender perspective into offerings aimed at women. CONDUSEF presented the renewal as part of its Sáasil initiative, launched in 2023, which recognizes financial institutions for real, measurable and sustained efforts to embed gender perspective in product design, internal policies and organizational culture. MetLife's 2026 Financial Education Program within Te Quiero Segura includes a free, fully online course covering budgeting, debt management, insurance, retirement and investments, targeted at women at different life stages. The platform also offers a financial health calculator that helps users assess their situation and receive recommendations. CONDUSEF said the badge is intended to broaden the supply of financial products intentionally designed for women, raise quality standards and encourage more institutions to adopt this approach.
