State Bank of Vietnam Regional Branch 13 held the first meeting of its Steering Committee for anti-corruption and prevention of negative practices, announcing the establishment decision, adopting the committee’s operating regulations, reviewing results for the first nine months of 2025 and setting priorities for the remaining months of 2025. The meeting was chaired by Pham Minh Tu, Party Secretary and Director of Regional Branch 13, with participation from branch leadership, inspection functions and specialist departments, and steering committee members including directors of level 1 branches of state-owned commercial banks in the area. Discussion covered issues identified through inspection and supervision and through handling complaints, denunciations and petitions from citizens and customers, alongside an update on banking activity and deployment of credit programmes under State Bank of Vietnam direction; the chair called for strengthened direction and follow-up across units, accelerated resolution of complaint files to limit new cases and prevent public gatherings, and intensified checks to detect, correct and strictly handle corruption and negative conduct.
