The Central Bank of Cuba has outlined a program of events marking Banking Workers’ Day and the anniversary of the nationalization of Cuba’s banking sector. The national ceremony will take place in Sancti Spiritus province on Oct. 13, which was selected based on its overall performance. Central office employees with 25 to 50 years of service will receive commemorative awards on Oct. 15. Employees of the Central Bank of Cuba with five to 20 years of service will be recognized on Oct. 20.
