The Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) has published a guide, via its Financial Trusts unit, to support the implementation of financial trusts constituted with assets originated through electronic channels. The guide responds to the growth of digital platforms as asset-origination channels and consolidates criteria that have applied since 2018, updated as market practices evolved. It sets out the requirements applicable where more than 10% of the trust’s underlying assets consist of credits originated through electronic channels, and specifies which requirements apply when the share of such assets is below 10%.
