The Estonian Financial Supervision and Resolution Authority granted AS TBB Pank permission on 14 April to terminate its services voluntarily and revoked its operating licence, also withdrawing the right of its subsidiary AS TBB Liising to operate as a creditor. The decision allows the bank to begin a voluntary winding-up process. AS TBB Pank’s market share was 0.003% of deposits and 0.02% of loans outstanding, and the supervisor stated that the wind-up does not affect the stability of Estonia’s financial sector. The bank will organise the distribution of deposits and has already been informing clients and cooperation partners; following the licence revocation, eight credit institutions remain licensed by the authority in Estonia.
