The Central Bank of Mongolia and Deutsche Bundesbank signed a memorandum of understanding to expand cooperation across central banking functions and staff development. The agreement covers monetary policy, financial stability and banking supervision, alongside payment system infrastructure, cash management and digital transformation. The cooperation will place particular emphasis on developing staff expertise through knowledge exchange and expanded joint training programs. Signed during Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh’s state visit to Germany, the agreement builds on more than 30 years of cooperation between the two central banks dating to the early 1990s.
