The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission reported that the Eastern Magistrates’ Court adjourned until September 17, 2026, its criminal prosecution of Oliver Chow Pak Wah. Chow pleaded not guilty to three charges alleging that, without reasonable excuse, he failed to produce records and documents and attend interviews required under section 183 of the Securities and Futures Ordinance in connection with two ongoing market manipulation investigations. Chow was apprehended under arrest warrants after failing to attend court hearings on October 23 and December 4, 2025. The court granted bail of HKD 15,000, barred him from leaving Hong Kong, required him to surrender his travel documents and imposed residence notification and thrice-weekly police reporting conditions.
