The Central Bank of Brunei Darussalam has extended the fieldwork period for the Brunei Darussalam Financial Inclusion Demand-Side Survey 2025 until 30 April 2025. The survey, conducted by Universiti Teknologi Brunei, is intended to measure financial inclusion levels, identify gaps and barriers, and support improvements in access to financial products and services. The exercise targets 2,600 individuals nationwide and will be conducted through face-to-face interviews expected to take no more than one hour. Questions will focus on individuals’ and households’ financial behaviour, access, preferences, and needs, and responses will be kept confidential for survey purposes. Universiti Teknologi Brunei-appointed interviewers will contact selected participants to schedule interviews, and the public is advised to verify interviewers’ identity by checking their Universiti Teknologi Brunei work pass.
