The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo published an update on a two-day official visit by its Internal Audit delegation to the Bank of Albania, focused on strengthening inter-institutional cooperation and improving internal audit practices. The delegation, led by the Head of Internal Audit Labinot Lekaj, met senior Bank of Albania officials including General Inspector Merita Bejtja, Rediana Elezi and the Internal Control Department team. Discussions covered audit capacity development, risk management and transparency aligned with international standards, and concluded with both sides reaffirming their readiness to intensify cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
